What does Exodus 19:8 mean?
ESV: All the people answered together and said, "All that the Lord has spoken we will do." And Moses reported the words of the people to the Lord.
NIV: The people all responded together, "We will do everything the Lord has said." So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.
NASB: Then all the people answered together and said, 'All that the Lord has spoken we will do!' And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.

Book Summary:
The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
