ESV: You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side;

NIV: Make twenty frames for the south side of the tabernacle

NASB: You shall make the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side.

CSB: Make the supports for the tabernacle as follows: twenty supports for the south side,

NLT: Make twenty of these frames to support the curtains on the south side of the Tabernacle.

The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
