ESV: Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you were shown on the mountain.

NIV: "Set up the tabernacle according to the plan shown you on the mountain.

NASB: Then you shall erect the tabernacle according to its plan which you have been shown on the mountain.

CSB: You are to set up the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you have been shown on the mountain.

NLT: Set up this Tabernacle according to the pattern you were shown on the mountain.

KJV: And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.

NKJV: And you shall raise up the tabernacle according to its pattern which you were shown on the mountain.

The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
