What does Exodus 36:4 mean?
ESV: so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing,
NIV: So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing
NASB: And all the skillful people who were performing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from the work which they were performing,

Book Summary:
The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
