What does Ezekiel 28:12 mean?
ESV: "Son of man, raise a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God: "You were the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
NIV: "Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: " ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
NASB: Son of man, take up a song of mourning over the king of Tyre and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord God says: 'You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
CSB: "Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord God says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
