What does Isaiah 34:2 mean?
ESV: For the Lord is enraged against all the nations, and furious against all their host; he has devoted them to destruction, has given them over for slaughter.
NIV: The Lord is angry with all nations; his wrath is on all their armies. He will totally destroy them, he will give them over to slaughter.
NASB: For the Lord’S anger is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them, He has turned them over to slaughter.
CSB: The Lord is angry with all the nations, furious with all their armies. He will set them apart for destruction, giving them over to slaughter.
