ESV: All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.

NIV: Before him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by him as worthless and less than nothing.

NASB: All the nations are as nothing before Him, They are regarded by Him as less than nothing and meaningless.

CSB: All the nations are as nothing before him; they are considered by him as empty nothingness.

NLT: The nations of the world are worth nothing to him. In his eyes they count for less than nothing — mere emptiness and froth.

KJV: All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

Isaiah is among the most important prophetic books in the entire Bible. The first segment details God's impending judgment against ancient peoples for sin and idolatry (Isaiah 1—35). The second part of Isaiah briefly explains a failed assault on Jerusalem during the rule of Hezekiah (Isaiah 36—39). The final chapters predict Israel's rescue from Babylonian captivity (Isaiah 40—48), the promised Messiah (Isaiah 49—57), and the final glory of Jerusalem and God's people (Isaiah 58—66).
