What does Isaiah 48:11 mean?
ESV: For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another.
NIV: For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another.
NASB: For My own sake, for My own sake, I will act; For how can My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.
CSB: I will act for my own sake, indeed, my own, for how can I be defiled? I will not give my glory to another.
NLT: I will rescue you for my sake — yes, for my own sake! I will not let my reputation be tarnished, and I will not share my glory with idols!
KJV: For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
NKJV: For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

Book Summary:
Isaiah is among the most important prophetic books in the entire Bible. The first segment details God's impending judgment against ancient peoples for sin and idolatry (Isaiah 1—35). The second part of Isaiah briefly explains a failed assault on Jerusalem during the rule of Hezekiah (Isaiah 36—39). The final chapters predict Israel's rescue from Babylonian captivity (Isaiah 40—48), the promised Messiah (Isaiah 49—57), and the final glory of Jerusalem and God's people (Isaiah 58—66).
