What does Jeremiah 38:13 mean?
ESV: Then they drew Jeremiah up with ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.
NIV: and they pulled him up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern. And Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard.
NASB: So they pulled Jeremiah out with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern, and Jeremiah stayed in the courtyard of the guardhouse.
CSB: They pulled him up with the ropes and lifted him out of the cistern, but he remained in the guard’s courtyard.
