What does Jonah 1:10 mean?
ESV: Then the men were exceedingly afraid and said to him, "What is this that you have done!" For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.
NIV: This terrified them and they asked, "What have you done?" (They knew he was running away from the Lord, because he had already told them so.)
NASB: Then the men became extremely afraid, and they said to him, 'How could you do this?' For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.
CSB: Then the men were seized by a great fear and said to him, "What is this you’ve done?" The men knew he was fleeing from the Lord’s presence because he had told them.
