What does Joshua 7:25 mean?
ESV: And Joshua said, "Why did you bring trouble on us? The Lord brings trouble on you today." And all Israel stoned him with stones. They burned them with fire and stoned them with stones.
NIV: Joshua said, "Why have you brought this trouble on us? The Lord will bring trouble on you today." Then all Israel stoned him, and after they had stoned the rest, they burned them.
NASB: And Joshua said, 'Why have you brought disaster on us? The Lord will bring disaster on you this day.' And all Israel stoned them with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.
