What does Leviticus 23:31 mean?
ESV: You shall not do any work. It is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
NIV: You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
NASB: You shall not do any work. It is to be a permanent statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
CSB: You are not to do any work. This is a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you live.
NLT: You must not do any work at all! This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation wherever you live.
KJV: Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
