What does Numbers 10:7 mean?
ESV: But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow a long blast, but you shall not sound an alarm.
NIV: To gather the assembly, blow the trumpets, but not with the signal for setting out.
NASB: When convening the assembly, however, you shall blow the trumpets without sounding an alarm.
CSB: When calling the assembly together, you are to sound long blasts, not short ones.
NLT: But when you call the people to an assembly, blow the trumpets with a different signal.
KJV: But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
