What does Numbers 31:26 mean?
ESV: "Take the count of the plunder that was taken, both of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers ' houses of the congregation,
NIV: "You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the community are to count all the people and animals that were captured.
NASB: You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation take a count of the spoils that were captured, both of people and of livestock;
CSB: "You, the priest Eleazar, and the family heads of the community are to take a count of what was captured, people and animals.
NLT: You and Eleazar the priest and the family leaders of each tribe are to make a list of all the plunder taken in the battle, including the people and animals.
