What does 1 Chronicles 27:5 mean?
ESV: The third commander, for the third month, was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest; in his division were 24,000.
NIV: The third army commander, for the third month, was Benaiah son of Jehoiada the priest. He was chief and there were 24,000 men in his division.
NASB: The third commander of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the priest, as chief; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
