What does 1 Kings 13:8 mean?
ESV: And the man of God said to the king, “If you give me half your house, I will not go in with you. And I will not eat bread or drink water in this place,
NIV: But the man of God answered the king, 'Even if you were to give me half your possessions, I would not go with you, nor would I eat bread or drink water here.
