What does 1 Kings 18:33 mean?
ESV: And he put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, “Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.”
NIV: He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, 'Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.'
NASB: Then he laid out the wood, and he cut the ox in pieces and placed it on the wood.
