What does 1 Kings 22:18 mean?
ESV: And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”
NIV: The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, 'Didn't I tell you that he never prophesies anything good about me, but only bad?'
NASB: Then the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, 'Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy anything good regarding me, but only bad?'
CSB: So the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "Didn't I tell you he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster? "
NLT: Didn’t I tell you?' the king of Israel exclaimed to Jehoshaphat. 'He never prophesies anything but trouble for me.'
