What does 1 Kings 3:3 mean?
ESV: Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father, only he sacrificed and made offerings at the high places.
NIV: Solomon showed his love for the LORD by walking according to the instructions given him by his father David, except that he offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.
NASB: Now Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of his father David, except that he was sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.
