What does 1 Kings 4:28 mean?
ESV: Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds they brought to the place where it was required, each according to his duty.
NIV: They also brought to the proper place their quotas of barley and straw for the chariot horses and the other horses.
NASB: They also brought barley and straw for the war horses and baggage horses to the place where it was required, each deputy according to his duty.
