What does 1 Samuel 23:12 mean?
ESV: Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah surrender me and my men into the hand of Saul?” And the LORD said, “They will surrender you.”
NIV: Again David asked, 'Will the citizens of Keilah surrender me and my men to Saul?' And the LORD said, 'They will.'
NASB: Then David said, 'Will the citizens of Keilah hand me and my men over to Saul?' And the Lord said, 'They will hand you over.'

Book Summary:
First Samuel introduces the key figures who led Israel after the era of the judges. The books of 1 and 2 Samuel were originally part of a single text, split in certain translations shortly before the birth of Christ. These including the prophet Samuel, Israel’s first king, Saul, her greatest king, David, and other famous names such as Goliath and Jonathan.
