What does 2 Chronicles 1:1 mean?
ESV: Solomon the son of David established himself in his kingdom, and the LORD his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.
NIV: Solomon son of David established himself firmly over his kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.
NASB: Now Solomon the son of David established himself securely over his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him greatly.
