What does 2 Kings 11:11 mean?
ESV: And the guards stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, from the south side of the house to the north side of the house, around the altar and the house on behalf of the king.
NIV: The guards, each with weapon in hand, stationed themselves around the king--near the altar and the temple, from the south side to the north side of the temple.
NASB: The guards stood, each with his weapons in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, by the altar and by the house, around the king.
CSB: Then the guards stood with their weapons in hand surrounding the king--from the right side of the temple to the left side, by the altar and by the temple.
NLT: The palace guards stationed themselves around the king, with their weapons ready. They formed a line from the south side of the Temple around to the north side and all around the altar.
KJV: And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.
NKJV: Then the escorts stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, all around the king, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, by the altar and the house.
