What does 2 Kings 13:14 mean?
ESV: Now when Elisha had fallen sick with the illness of which he was to die, Joash king of Israel went down to him and wept before him, crying, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!”
NIV: Now Elisha had been suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. 'My father! My father!' he cried. 'The chariots and horsemen of Israel!'
NASB: When Elisha became sick with the illness of which he was to die, Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over him and said, 'My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!'
