What does 2 Kings 16:20 mean?
ESV: And Ahaz slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David, and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.
NIV: Ahaz rested with his ancestors and was buried with them in the City of David. And Hezekiah his son succeeded him as king.
NASB: So Ahaz lay down with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and his son Hezekiah reigned in his place.
CSB: Ahaz rested with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David, and his son Hezekiah became king in his place.
NLT: When Ahaz died, he was buried with his ancestors in the City of David. Then his son Hezekiah became the next king.
