What does Deuteronomy 15:8 mean?
ESV: but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be.
NIV: Rather, be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need.
NASB: but you shall fully open your hand to him, and generously lend him enough for his need in whatever he lacks.
CSB: Instead, you are to open your hand to him and freely loan him enough for whatever need he has.
NLT: Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need.
KJV: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
