What does Deuteronomy 28:54 mean?
ESV: The man who is the most tender and refined among you will begrudge food to his brother, to the wife he embraces, and to the last of the children whom he has left,
NIV: Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children,
NASB: The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
