What does Deuteronomy 29:5 mean?
ESV: I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn off your feet.
NIV: Yet the LORD says, 'During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.
NASB: And I have led you in the wilderness for forty years; your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandal has not worn out on your foot.
CSB: I led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes and the sandals on your feet did not wear out;
NLT: For forty years I led you through the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out.
KJV: And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
