What does Deuteronomy 32:15 mean?
ESV: “But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, stout, and sleek; then he forsook God who made him and scoffed at the Rock of his salvation.
NIV: Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; filled with food, they became heavy and sleek. They abandoned the God who made them and rejected the Rock their Savior.
NASB: 'But Jeshurun became fat and kicked— You have become fat, thick, and obstinate— Then he abandoned God who made him, And rejected the Rock of his salvation.
CSB: Then Jeshurun became fat and rebelled -- you became fat, bloated, and gorged. He abandoned the God who made him and scorned the Rock of his salvation.
NLT: 'But Israel soon became fat and unruly; the people grew heavy, plump, and stuffed! Then they abandoned the God who had made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation.
