What does Deuteronomy 4:11 mean?
ESV: And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, while the mountain burned with fire to the heart of heaven, wrapped in darkness, cloud, and gloom.
NIV: You came near and stood at the foot of the mountain while it blazed with fire to the very heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness.
NASB: You came forward and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire to the heart of the heavens: darkness, cloud, and thick gloom.
