What does Esther 9:5 mean?
ESV: The Jews struck all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying them, and did as they pleased to those who hated them.
NIV: The Jews struck down all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying them, and they did what they pleased to those who hated them.
