What does Exodus 21:10 mean?
ESV: If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, or her marital rights.
NIV: If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights.
NASB: If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights.
CSB: If he takes an additional wife, he must not reduce the food, clothing, or marital rights of the first wife.

Book Summary:
The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage. Moses serves as God's spokesman, as the Lord brings plagues and judgments on Egypt, leading to the release of Israel.
