What does Exodus 38:28 mean?
ESV: And of the 1,775 shekels he made hooks for the pillars and overlaid their capitals and made fillets for them.
NIV: They used the 1,775 shekels to make the hooks for the posts, to overlay the tops of the posts, and to make their bands.

Book Summary:
The book of Exodus establishes God's covenant relationship with the full-fledged nation of Israel. The descendants of Abraham prosper after settling in Egypt, only to be enslaved by a fearful, hateful Egyptian Pharaoh. God appoints Moses to lead the people out of this bondage.
