What does Hosea 4:2 mean?
ESV: there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
NIV: There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
NASB: There is oath-taking, denial, murder, stealing, and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.
