What does Isaiah 54:6 mean?
ESV: For the LORD has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God.
NIV: The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit-- a wife who married young, only to be rejected,' says your God.
NASB: For the Lord has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,' Says your God.
