What does Jeremiah 27:5 mean?
ESV: “It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.
NIV: With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.
NASB: ‘I have made the earth, mankind, and the animals which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.
CSB: "By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.
NLT: With my great strength and powerful arm I made the earth and all its people and every animal. I can give these things of mine to anyone I choose.
KJV: I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
