What does Jeremiah 30:15 mean?
ESV: Why do you cry out over your hurt? Your pain is incurable. Because your guilt is great, because your sins are flagrant, I have done these things to you.
NIV: Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you.
NASB: Why do you cry out over your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because your wrongdoing is great And your sins are numerous, I have done these things to you.
CSB: Why do you cry out about your injury? Your pain has no cure! I have done these things to you because of your enormous guilt and your innumerable sins.
NLT: Why do you protest your punishment — this wound that has no cure? I have had to punish you because your sins are many and your guilt is great.
KJV: Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.
