What does Jeremiah 3:24 mean?
ESV: “But from our youth the shameful thing has devoured all for which our fathers labored, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
NIV: From our youth shameful gods have consumed the fruits of our ancestors' labor-- their flocks and herds, their sons and daughters.
