What does Jonah 3:4 mean?
ESV: Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he called out, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!”
NIV: Jonah began by going a day's journey into the city, proclaiming, 'Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.'
NASB: Then Jonah began to go through the city one day’s walk; and he cried out and said, 'Forty more days, and Nineveh will be overthrown.'
CSB: Jonah set out on the first day of his walk in the city and proclaimed, "In forty days Nineveh will be demolished! "
