What does Jonah 4:5 mean?
ESV: Jonah went out of the city and sat to the east of the city and made a booth for himself there. He sat under it in the shade, till he should see what would become of the city.
NIV: Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter, sat in its shade and waited to see what would happen to the city.
NASB: Then Jonah left the city and sat down east of it. There he made a shelter for himself and sat under it in the shade, until he could see what would happen in the city.
CSB: Jonah left the city and found a place east of it. He made himself a shelter there and sat in its shade to see what would happen to the city.
NLT: Then Jonah went out to the east side of the city and made a shelter to sit under as he waited to see what would happen to the city.
