What does Joshua 22:34 mean?
ESV: The people of Reuben and the people of Gad called the altar Witness, “For,” they said, “it is a witness between us that the LORD is God.”
NIV: And the Reubenites and the Gadites gave the altar this name: A Witness Between Us--that the LORD is God.
