What does Leviticus 17:10 mean?
ESV: “If any one of the house of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn among them eats any blood, I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.
NIV: 'I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood, and I will cut them off from the people.
NASB: ‘And anyone from the house of Israel, or from the strangers who reside among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats the blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
CSB: "Anyone from the house of Israel or from the aliens who reside among them who eats any blood, I will turn against that person who eats blood and cut him off from his people.
