What does Nehemiah 8:2 mean?
ESV: So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month.
NIV: So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand.
NASB: Then Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men, women, and all who could listen with understanding, on the first day of the seventh month.
CSB: On the first day of the seventh month, the priest Ezra brought the law before the assembly of men, women, and all who could listen with understanding.
