What does Numbers 31:26 mean?
ESV: “Take the count of the plunder that was taken, both of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the congregation,
NIV: You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the community are to count all the people and animals that were captured.
NASB: You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation take a count of the spoils that were captured, both of people and of livestock;
CSB: "You, the priest Eleazar, and the family heads of the community are to take a count of what was captured, people and animals.
NLT: You and Eleazar the priest and the family leaders of each tribe are to make a list of all the plunder taken in the battle, including the people and animals.
