ESV: Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your word.

NIV: May those who fear you rejoice when they see me, for I have put my hope in your word.

NASB: May those who fear You see me and be glad, Because I wait for Your word.

CSB: Those who fear you will see me and rejoice, for I put my hope in your word.

NLT: May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.

KJV: They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

NKJV: Those who fear You will be glad when they see me, Because I have hoped in Your word.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
