ESV: Those who make them become like them, so do all who trust in them.

NIV: Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.

NASB: Those who make them will become like them, Yes, everyone who trusts in them.

CSB: Those who make them are just like them, as are all who trust in them.

NLT: And those who make idols are just like them, as are all who trust in them.

KJV: They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

NKJV: Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
