ESV: All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of your mouth,

NIV: May all the kings of the earth praise you, LORD, when they hear what you have decreed.

NASB: All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, Lord, When they have heard the words of Your mouth.

CSB: All the kings on earth will give you thanks, Lord, when they hear what you have promised.

NLT: Every king in all the earth will thank you, Lord, for all of them will hear your words.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
