What does Psalm 69:2 mean?
ESV: I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me.
NIV: I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me.
NASB: I have sunk in deep mud, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me.
