ESV: Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent.

NIV: Do not cast me away when I am old; do not forsake me when my strength is gone.

NASB: Do not cast me away at the time of my old age; Do not abandon me when my strength fails.

CSB: Don't discard me in my old age. As my strength fails, do not abandon me.

NLT: And now, in my old age, don’t set me aside. Don’t abandon me when my strength is failing.

KJV: Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

NKJV: Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes. Some Psalms focus on praising and worshipping God. Others cry out in anguish over the pain of life. Still other Psalms look forward to the coming of the Messiah. While some Psalms are related, each has its own historical and biblical context.
