ESV: He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them, and frogs, which destroyed them.

NIV: He sent swarms of flies that devoured them, and frogs that devastated them.

The book of Psalms is composed of individual songs, hymns, or poems, each of which is a ''Psalm'' in and of itself. These works contain a wide variety of themes.
